Yuvraj Khanna, a 17-year-old high school senior from Silicon Valley, California, is the founder and driving force behind Project GYAN, an initiative dedicated to empowering underprivileged students in India through access to technology and AI education. Born to Indian immigrant parents, Yuvraj’s deep cultural roots inspired him during a recent visit to India, where he encountered a small school facing significant challenges, including limited resources for its 60 students. Motivated by a commitment to social impact, he launched Project GYAN to raise $15,000 for essential tools such as Chromebooks, Wi-Fi, clean water systems, backup power, textbooks, and a dedicated teacher for foundational computer and introductory AI skills.
