Where does my donation go?+
100% of contributions fund laptops, internet access, learning materials and dedicated teachers for underprivileged students at Prathmik Vidyalay, Narur, Varanasi. We publish a clear allocation breakdown and report outcomes back to donors.
Who runs Project Gyan?+
It was founded by 17-year-old Yuvraj Khanna and is delivered in partnership with the Dr. Amrit Lal Ishrat Memorial Society, which operates the DALIMSS Sunbeam Group of Schools serving 50,000+ students.
Can I donate from the USA?+
Yes. Donors in the USA and worldwide can give securely online in USD through our GoFundMe campaign. Indian donors can give in INR by cheque or bank transfer — contact us for details.
Is my donation tax-deductible?+
Tax treatment depends on your country and how you give. Online gifts via GoFundMe are generally not tax-deductible unless stated on the campaign. For receipts and the current status of tax-exempt giving in India or the USA, please contact us before donating.
How do I know my gift made a difference?+
Every contribution is tracked and reported back with measurable outcomes — laptops delivered, teachers appointed, students reached — alongside photos and updates from the field. See our Transparency page.
Can I get a refund?+
Donations are generally non-refundable as funds are committed quickly to the field. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us promptly — see our Donation & Refund Policy.
How can I help besides donating?+
Volunteer your time or skills, share our Hope Ignited campaign, or introduce us to partners and press. Visit the Volunteer page.
